Introduction

Teenage is a very tender age with kids equivalent to tiny rebellious creatures, filled with thoughts and opinions. Spirituality in itself is a wide concept, to connect to a child in his or her teens is remarkable. In this world of expectations and pressure be it social or peer, a child needs its parent’s company at its best. An age wherein influence can play both an experiential and derogatory role, an open conversation with parents can be protective as well as supportive. But generally, this situation comes out to be very uncommon today. Children reach out to their friends faster than their parents or rather stay silent. Spiritualism being a very pristine topic in itself needs acceptance as well as understanding, it can not be forced or imposed on anyone.

Division of ideologies

According to a research by Child Trends Organisation, it was found there has been a gradual increase in the belief for religion amidst the teenagers. Children can not be forced to follow religious practices or spirituality, the force might last for some time but would not be from inside. There often comes out to be a difference in ideologies between children and parents. One set trying to instil spirituality in their kids with the sole purpose for their improvement but land in arguments with their child. While the other one leaving it upon the kid to follow its mind and have open discussions about spirituality and let them speak their mind. With the second set seldom existing. Children being in their quest to learn the answers to the big questions about life tend to fall alone and misguided. Some take it as force whereas others like a myth.

Way of Guidance

Every child wishes to be heard, every child has its own way to see the world. As a parent, it is your duty to guide them rather than dictating them. The environment of the home needs to be calm, positive and supportive. Children just copy what they see, hence it’s essential to feed their senses with good and powerful energy. Open discussions are the best way to understand the child, and listening plays a key role here. Rest nothing else would need to be done just constant guidance and supportive suggestions will help them complete their quest.

Conclusion

Whether it is teenage or any age a child just needs a good environment and guiding parents to reach the end of his or her quest.
